As Nashville has exploded in growth, the face of East Nashville has changed significantly. There are fewer places that can be noticed more than during a drive down Nashville’s Gallatin Pike. In the past 5 years, this area of Nashville has seen creative entrepreneurs, music studios, apartments, fabulous bars, and restaurants flock to Gallatin and create a wonderfully unique part of the city.

Studio 79 sits at the center of this newfound action. Inglewood Lounge, a hip cocktail bar with live jazz and funk jam nights is within walking distance. East Side Bowl, a renovated bowling alley, is 5 minutes away. So is Grimey’s Record shop, the second vinyl shop of a bona fide Nashville institution. Don’t sleep on El Fuego’s margaritas either — they are strong, and they are cheap.

This section of East is convenient too. Kroger is half a mile away. Opry Mills is under 10 if you need to go shopping or watch a movie in IMAX, and there are 3 separate gyms within 5 minutes. Traffic isn’t bad around here either. In short, this is exactly where we would want to live if we were in East, which is exactly why we created Studio 79. You’re going to love it.
